Dear Beliebers,
this was said by Lady Gaga, in her Google Goes Gaga interview that was posted on YouTube, 22 March, 2011. The reason I’m bringing it to you is because I’ve noticed “papsleavebiebsalone” and “cheerupjustin” trending on Twitter. While your dedication to your idol is adorable, please note that there are much larger issues in our world nowadays - especially recently, and yet, nothing about Japan or Libya is trending virtually anywhere.
I’d like to remind you: stalking paparazzi is a side-effect of being famous. He was the one who chose this road, so he has to deal with it - I doubt anyone forced him. Besides, I’m not saying in every case, but on a general level, many, if not most of you are eager to feast on paparazzi-shot photos of your idol(s), reading the latest gossips attached to them. Don’t you think you should take it down a notch or two? There’s only so much hypocrisy this world can endure.
